Wet Meat Rub

A wet rub can really jazz up your Sunday roast, Tuesday night chicken, or Friday night steaks? When you rub meat, it adds tremendous flavour to your dish. Somewhere between a marinade and a rub, this recipe marries your meat just right. Please note that this looks like it's high in fat, but remember it is olive oil...a heart healthy Omega fat.
Combine 1 cup herb dip (see above)
ΒΌ cup Dijon mustard
1 Tbl rosemary (or other savory spice)
1 Tbl olive oil
Spread over meat before baking or roasting.
